SCHOOL COUNCIL

The School Council meet regularly to discuss school issues, new initiatives and charity projects. We also run the school shop. The headteacher, Mr. Thomas, is often called to meetings to discuss some of the projects and schemes that the children would like to introduce. So far the children have introduced a playground toy scheme and refurbished the toilets.

We held official elections for our new School Council on Wednesday 15th September 2010. Each class cast their votes in the Polling Station and results were announced at the end of the day.
Our first activity was a training day with School Councils from Sully, St. Andrew's and Dinas Powys Infants School. We shared our ideas and heard from other schools about projects they have introduced.

  Y4 - My Manifesto

Y6 - My Manifesto

Please vote for me because I am kind and thoughtful and I get on with people. If you vote for me I will try to get bike sheds introduced so we can cycle to school. I will try to get more wet break toys for the whole school and also football posts and nets. I am a good listener and I will bring up all of your ideas in our meetings.

Please vote for me because I will be trustworthy. Even if I don't like your idea and it's sensible I will still mention it in the meeting. I will try to let you have your say and I will also be loyal! So please vote for me!
