Gardd Y Murch

Pupils and staff from Murch Junior School were joined by Councillor Tony Hampton, Chair of Education and Lifelong Learning and Director of Learning and Development and Mr. Bryan Jeffreys, to officially open "Gardd Y Murch" the name given by the children to Murch Junior School's Eco Garden. Pupils from the School Eco Council are planning a new gardening club as part of the School's drive towards the Green Flag Award.

The pupils and staff also took the opportunity to present Mr. Thomas with a "Congratulations Cake" following his recent appointment as Head Teacher of Murch Junior School.
